Short Introduction

200 years of the factory, from 1800 to 2000, its events, fates and personnel are thought-provoking. Today’s buildings and machinery, which are essential preconditions for our living today, represent materialized investment work inherited from previous generations over the past 200 years. From the owners and employees of the company itself as well as from craftsmen, construction and other supply companies, regardless of nationality, language, religious or political thought. Many have changed over the past 200 years. Thrones and governments fell, people were born and died. Fate stirred life stories of people and families, even the factory’s name has changed. But what remained is result of diligent and creative work of those people whose lives were connected with the factory and the town Vrbno pod Pradědem.
